A Poem by Thayne Whipple
A Fool
Mar 3, 2016
I rhyme my way through life they say
And leave my cares along the way.
And leave my cares along the way.
"A fool" you say that I must be —
Perhaps, I say, but we shall see.
Perhaps, I say, but we shall see.
For when I'm gone, a book will stand
A testament to all that's grand.
A testament to all that's grand.
Or worse perhaps, my friend, I fear
The only monument - a tear.
The only monument - a tear.
