A Wandering Soul
Jul 23, 2015
A wandering soul have I, I know.
From where I am, I soon will go,
To once again the world go 'round.
No walls have I by which I'm bound.
From where I am, I soon will go,
To once again the world go 'round.
No walls have I by which I'm bound.
I think I'd like to see one day
The bustle of the Hong Kong bay.
Then ride along the Kenyan plain;
Relive medieval times in Spain.
The bustle of the Hong Kong bay.
Then ride along the Kenyan plain;
Relive medieval times in Spain.
Then to explore a Scottish bog
And lose myself in London fog.
I'll navigate the Amazon;
Deplete my savings ‘til their gone
And lose myself in London fog.
I'll navigate the Amazon;
Deplete my savings ‘til their gone
And then I will again return
And in my office memos spurn.
Until I can create the wealth
With which I may enjoy my health.
And in my office memos spurn.
Until I can create the wealth
With which I may enjoy my health.
I don't know if it's wrong or right
To always want to take to flight.
But rather than decay at home,
I much prefer the world to roam.
To always want to take to flight.
But rather than decay at home,
I much prefer the world to roam.
