Are One Thousand Words Worth A Picture?
Sep 15, 2015
A picture’s worth a thousand words.
I'm told that it is so,
By those who feign authority.
And I suppose they know.
I'm told that it is so,
By those who feign authority.
And I suppose they know.
But if we're mathematical,
And turn the phrase around;
Does, under thorough scrutiny,
The theory remain sound.
And turn the phrase around;
Does, under thorough scrutiny,
The theory remain sound.
If I should pen and paper take,
One thousand words did write,
Then paste them o'er my mantle,
Would It make a pretty sight?
One thousand words did write,
Then paste them o'er my mantle,
Would It make a pretty sight?
And regardless of the masses,
And what they may believe;
A book with only pictures would
Be cause for me to grieve.
And what they may believe;
A book with only pictures would
Be cause for me to grieve.
So please keep pictures on the wall;
And words inside of books.
You'll make your life much easier;
And get less funny looks.
And words inside of books.
You'll make your life much easier;
And get less funny looks.
