A Poem by Thayne Whipple
Beauty
Sep 25, 2015
Should beauty all be gathered unto one single place?
Or should we rather spread it out o'er all the worlds face?
Or should we rather spread it out o'er all the worlds face?
Now as I'm not a scholar or expert in the field,
I think to greater intellects I will the problem yield.
I think to greater intellects I will the problem yield.
But rather selfishly, I thought if I could find a way,
I'd bring together earths most treasured beauties here today.
I'd bring together earths most treasured beauties here today.
And so for you, these roses I, specific'lly did buy,
That I might see them next to you — and you alongside I.
That I might see them next to you — and you alongside I.
