A Poem by Thayne Whipple
Believe!
Nov 9, 2015
The things on which we now insist,
Not long ago did not exist;
Not long ago did not exist;
The mobile phone and internet,
The radio and TV set,
The radio and TV set,
The car and satellites and planes,
Electric blankets too, and trains.
Electric blankets too, and trains.
They once were just ideas, or less,
And did not all the world impress.
And did not all the world impress.
Each took a thought, and then an act,
Before they could our lives impact.
Before they could our lives impact.
So, let me make it crystal clear,
You should not doubt, or failure fear.
You should not doubt, or failure fear.
There's nothing you cannot achieve,
If in your dreams you do believe.
If in your dreams you do believe.
