Dear daughter on your birthday, I
Would like to pen a little rhyme.
To share with you my love and say,
How quickly has passed by the time.

A year ago through heaven's veil,
You flew into our warm embrace.
And you have brought us peace and joy
With every smile upon your face.

As now you learn to walk and talk,
And roll a ball along the floor;
Please know dear one from heaven sent,
I couldn’t love you any more.
