A Poem by Thayne Whipple

Choices

Aug 24, 2015
It really doesn't matter if
I sink or if I swim.
But should I choose the former, things
Might look a bit more grim.
And so it is in life it seems,
As options fill the day.
It's up to no one else but me
To choose my chosen way.
The problem I have found of late
Is that I wish I knew,
Of all the good alternatives,
Which of them I should do.
To sail the seven oceans or
To climb the mountains tall
Or paint the perfect masterpiece...
Perhaps, I'll do them all.
