A Poem by Thayne Whipple
For Someone
Oct 16, 2015
As my heart does careless run,
My hand does write a poem, for someone.
My hand does write a poem, for someone.
Time and economics slide,
As on a cloud in heaven, with you ride.
As on a cloud in heaven, with you ride.
Falls from clouds can be quite far,
‘Though true the only transit, to a star.
‘Though true the only transit, to a star.
If we hold each other tight,
Less likely would we plummet, pray we might.
Less likely would we plummet, pray we might.
