A Poem by Thayne Whipple

Jellyfish

Feb 24, 2016
Floating through the ocean blue,
I, your body see right through.
Like a fabric in the breeze,
Gracefully propelled with ease.
All the streamers that you flaunt
For potential dinner taunt.
As when by them you do coast,
Poison paralyzes most.
You're so beautiful it's true,
But it's evil that you do.
So I'll watch you ripple past,
Bluish hue in ocean cast.
