Lingering Doubts
Nov 24, 2015
Why is it that you linger here?
Do you enjoy our company so much
That you endure the pain of being old.
And fight each day the grasp of mother earth.
Do you enjoy our company so much
That you endure the pain of being old.
And fight each day the grasp of mother earth.
Why is it that you linger here?
In younger days the bands of life were strong
But today, the will to live is barter
Sufficient for release from earthly woe.
In younger days the bands of life were strong
But today, the will to live is barter
Sufficient for release from earthly woe.
Why is it that you linger here?
Perhaps it is the fear of unknown paths?
Reluctance to forsake familiar ways?
And hesitance to tell God of your worth?
Perhaps it is the fear of unknown paths?
Reluctance to forsake familiar ways?
And hesitance to tell God of your worth?
Why is it that you linger here?
I do not know, but each day that you stay
Please know that we do cherish and are glad.
For when you leave, more than you'll ever know -
I do not know, but each day that you stay
Please know that we do cherish and are glad.
For when you leave, more than you'll ever know -
You will be missed and you, we won't forget.
