Morning Conversation

Aug 23, 2015
Oh Lord, I ask this morning as I wake;
That I thy spirit with me I might take.
That I might feel thy loving care.
That I might know you're standing there,
Along my side, when troubles come my way.
Dear Father, hear this prayer of mine
As I now put my faith in thine
Eternal care and for thy kingdom seek.
I ask thee lead me down thy path.
Protect me from the tempters wrath.
Please make me strong, oh Lord, for I am weak.
Oh Lord, I thank thee for thy light divine.
And pray that truth, my actions will define.
That I might love my fellow man,
Enough to share with him thy plan.
And help a friend obtain thy glorious rest.
As through another day of life I pass,
Though I know, Satan, armies will amass;
I ask thee only that I see
Creation thou hast framed for me,
And joy in that. For I do know I'm blessed.
Dear Father, hear this prayer of mine
As I now put my faith in thine
Eternal care and for thy kingdom seek.
I ask thee, lead me down thy path.
Protect me from the tempters wrath.
Please make me strong, oh Lord, for I am weak.
