A Poem by Thayne Whipple
Pink & Blue
Mar 1, 2016
In days of yore, they couldn’t tell
What sex your child might be.
But now with tests and gadgets, they
Can very quickly see.
What sex your child might be.
But now with tests and gadgets, they
Can very quickly see.
To me it doesn’t matter much
If it’s a girl or boy.
As long as it is healthy, and
A long life will enjoy.
If it’s a girl or boy.
As long as it is healthy, and
A long life will enjoy.
But as a loving parent does –
When they’re sixteen, I pray,
I’ll know if it’s a lad or lass –
Without testing DNA.
When they’re sixteen, I pray,
I’ll know if it’s a lad or lass –
Without testing DNA.
