The Fiber of Society

Mar 22, 2016
The fiber of society
Was woven with great care.
Of fabric largely moral, which
I fear is not all there.
This fact does cause me great concern,
For should we lose it all,
Our world as we know it now
Would be quite prone to fall.
It would mean the ann'hilation
Of society and home.
And it wouldn't be the first time.
Case in point is ancient Rome.
So if the view is radical
To disdain war and sin,
I'll stand in the minority
And take it on the chin.
But please don't sit by idly as
The tapestry does fray.
We need to stand together now.
There is no other way.
