A Poem by Thayne Whipple
Waves
Jun 15, 2016
Crashing waves along the shore -
One, then two, then millions more;
Shaping coasts of rock and sand,
Claiming victory over land.
One, then two, then millions more;
Shaping coasts of rock and sand,
Claiming victory over land.
Playing with you now my friend,
Cool refreshment you do send.
You retreat, I venture in ...
Then I run to save my skin!
Cool refreshment you do send.
You retreat, I venture in ...
Then I run to save my skin!
